Job summary

TrulyHired is seeking a Project Manager, Platform (Contractor) to orchestrate end-to-end delivery of large-scale EdTech initiatives, spanning software features, digital content, and production. You will own the critical path and coordinate writers, designers, and engineers to hit milestones.

In this remote, contract role, you will map timelines, identify long-lead items, mitigate risks, and run planning rituals.

Qualifications

• 5-8+ years of experience managing complex projects in EdTech, software, or publishing.
• Hybrid methodology fluency: Agile/Scrum for software and Waterfall/Stage-Gate for print/production.
• Master of the blended product: shipping web and physical learning materials.
• Advanced tooling skills: Jira and Smartsheet; ability to build dashboards.
• Excellent communication: translate tech delays to editors and design constraints to engineers.

Responsibilities

• Orchestrate complex delivery - lead end-to-end execution of large-scale initiatives across curriculum writing, software, production, and more.
• Master the critical path - manage timelines and long-lead items to protect launch date.
• Drive risk mitigation and problem-solving - identify risks and implement mitigations.
• Facilitate high-impact rituals - design and lead planning meetings with clear ownership and follow through.
• Own digital and service readiness - ensure digital lessons are tracked, QAed, and ready for launch.
• Optimize team throughput - analyze velocity and address bottlenecks in workflow.
• Strategic resource planning - look 2-3 quarters ahead for staffing and capacity constraints.
• Manage vendors and partners - agreements, statements of work, and performance management.
• Communicate with precision - provide data-backed updates to stakeholders.
