Job summary

Reflex Media is seeking a Technical Product Manager to own the platform layer underneath Seeking.com. You will guide internal tools, microservices, and payments systems, working closely with engineers to turn complexity into clean, well-documented systems.

You will write specs, runbooks, and acceptance criteria, prototype endpoints, and analyze production data to drive improvements. This fully remote US role emphasizes clear communication and scalable architecture.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree in CS/Software/EE.
• 3–6 years in a technical product role, with engineering background.
• Strong SQL, data flow understanding, and ability to read code.
• Experience with REST APIs, microservices, and database design.
• Ability to write specs, runbooks, and acceptance criteria.

Responsibilities

• Own the roadmap for internal tools and microservices supporting Seeking.
• Document surfaces in Confluence with diagrams, data flows, and API contracts.
• Simplify messy systems and declutter interfaces for engineers on day two.
• Collaborate across engineering, support, moderation, marketing, and finance.
• Own payments and moderation tooling and track key metrics.
• Instrument features with data, measure impact, and propose improvements.
