Job summary

interface.ai seeks a senior PM to own the AI platform foundational to all products. You will shape the platform, mentor engineers, and collaborate with leadership to scale the system to millions of end users, while balancing performance, safety, and governance in a high-growth fintech context.

You’ll drive contracts, model lifecycles, and end-to-end platform improvements, ensuring reliability, compliance, and rapid delivery across product pillars in a fast-paced startup environment.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in product management with 3+ years at Staff/Principal level on platform, AI/ML, or infrastructure products.
• Owned a multi-component platform serving multiple product teams, not a single product.
• Deep technical fluency: read code, review architecture, and debug production issues with engineers.
• Experience with AI/ML platforms: LLM orchestration, model evaluation, fine-tuning, or RAG.
• Experience governing platform contracts and how internal teams consume capabilities.
• Built in enterprise SaaS with multi-tenant, compliance, and governance requirements.
• AI-native workflow: building agents, automating analyses, prototyping with code and workflows.

Responsibilities

• Own AI platform that every product depends on; define direction and investment.
• Inherit a multi-component platform; assess, consolidate and sunset where needed.
• Set technical direction, mentor teams, and scale systems for millions of end users.
• Define platform contracts, APIs, versioning, depreciation, and migrations.
• Oversee model lifecycle, evaluation, benchmarking, and prompt optimization.
• Ensure latency budgets, reliability, and safe rollout with canaries and feature flags.
• Maintain safety, compliance, audit logs, PII masking, and encryption policies.
• Lead evaluation/quality with offline datasets, regression testing, and monitoring.
