Job summary

Guidehouse is seeking a Quality Assurance and Test Automation Lead to drive QA strategy and build a scalable automation framework for a large GrantSolutions modernization program. You will lead testing across APIs, data, and UI, mentor QA resources, and work with stakeholders from product to security to ensure reliable releases.

The role requires hands-on experience in manual and automated testing, SDLC/Agile, CI/CD, and cloud/container environments.

Qualifications

• Six to eight years of QA experience including leadership.
• Hands-on manual and automated testing for complex systems.
• Experience designing, building, and maturing test frameworks.
• Ability to lead QA resources and coordinate cross-team testing.
• Knowledge of SDLC, Agile, DevSecOps, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Familiarity with cloud-native testing and containerized environments.
• Strong documentation and communication skills across stakeholders.
• Preference for certifications like ISTQB or SAFe.

Responsibilities

• Define QA strategy and testing standards for large-scale programs.
• Stand up and mature automated test framework and patterns.
• Plan and execute system, regression, API, data validation, and UAT tests.
• Lead defect triage, verify fixes, and report quality metrics.
• Mentor QA resources and coordinate across delivery teams.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines and dashboards.
• Collaborate with Product Owners, Scrum Masters, and security teams.
• Ensure release readiness and risk-based testing coverage.
