Job summary

Talanto is seeking a Business/Systems Analyst to support requirements, process definition, stakeholder engagement, and solution alignment for a large-scale agile platform modernization program under the GrantSolutions contract. You will elicit, document, analyze, and validate business needs across multiple workstreams and Scrum teams.

You will work with Product Owners, Scrum Masters, and Federal stakeholders to translate modernization objectives into actionable requirements and ensure continuity

Qualifications

• Must be able to OBTAIN and MAINTAIN a Federal or DoD PUBLIC TRUST; adjudication required before onboarding.
• Bachelor's degree required.
• 6–8 years of business/systems analysis or IT modernization experience.
• Experience in platform modernization, system integration, and phased capability delivery.
• Understanding of SDLC and incremental transitions from legacy to API-enabled, cloud-aligned apps.
• Strong facilitation and cross-functional collaboration across stakeholders.
• Proficiency with Jira, Azure DevOps, Confluence, Visio, Lucidchart, SharePoint, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Elicit, analyze, document, and validate business, functional, data, and integration requirements for modernization.
• Develop current-state and future-state process flows and user stories to support incremental delivery.
• Support modernization workstreams across the lifecycle, including integration layer delivery and legacy coexistence.
• Collaborate with product owners, vendors, and federal stakeholders to refine backlogs and priorities.
• Translate complex integration concepts into clear requirements for technical and non-technical audiences.
• Maintain artifacts: requirements, process flows, traceability, and decision logs.
• Ensure alignment with platform architecture, governance, and release readiness.
