Job summary

Guidehouse is seeking a Technical Lead / Solution Architect to guide a large-scale GrantSolutions modernization initiative. You will shape the technical vision, lead architecture decisions, and coordinate cross-functional delivery across vendors and Scrum teams while maintaining legacy coexistence.

Qualifications

• Must have public trust eligibility and able to obtain; clearance required.
• Bachelor’s degree required in a relevant field.
• 6–8 years in software engineering, solution architecture, or platform modernization.
• Experience with Java, Spring Boot, microservices and API design.
• Proven experience with AWS cloud services and DevSecOps practices.

Responsibilities

• Lead solution architecture and technical direction for a large-scale modernization program.
• Define target-state architecture and modernization roadmap.
• Coordinate multi-workstream delivery, vendors, and Scrum teams.
• Provide hands-on guidance on APIs, data exchange, and cloud-native design.
• Establish technical standards, patterns, and governance across teams.
• Conduct architecture reviews and risk analyses to ensure secure, scalable solutions.
• Interface with Federal stakeholders and enterprise architects to align objectives.
