Job summary

Lilly’s Global Manufacturing & Quality Learning & Development (GMQLD) is seeking a Learning Architect to design and maintain platform-wide training for a GMP-driven manufacturing environment. The role focuses on 90% platform-level content and 10% site-specific needs, working with SMEs, Platform Leads, and COE to ensure training is current and compliant.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent with 10 years of experience in a GxP environment.
• 5+ years of experience in a GxP-regulated environment.
• Area or functional expertise in Learning & Development, instructional design, or Manufacturing/Quality operations.
• Experience with curriculum design, learning management systems, and GMP training requirements.
• Authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.

Responsibilities

• Design platform-specific training content within COE governance frameworks and global standards.
• Address 90% platform-level content and 10% site-specific needs, as assigned by the Platform Lead.
• Partner with site Subject Matter Experts on curriculum development, ensuring content reflects current manufacturing processes.
• Apply process-based curricula principles — organize content by manufacturing process with task-level qualification.
• Ensure curriculum aligns to the three-layer content model (Global / Platform / Site).
• Feed content gaps and site needs up to Platform Lead and COE for resolution.
• Support learning equivalency, exception and substitution decisions in alignment with the Quality system.
