At Lilly, the work is demanding because patients are waiting. We unite caring with discovery to help make life better for people around the world, knowing that every decision, every detail, and every day matters. Headquartered in Indianapolis, Indiana, our over 50,000 employees around the globe take on complex challenges to discover and deliver life-changing medicines, strengthen how health is understood and managed, and support the communities we serve. This is hard, urgent, selfless work—but it’s work worth doing. If you’re driven by purpose and ready to bring your best to work that truly matters for patients, we invite you to join us.

  • Lilly is currently constructing an advanced manufacturing facility for production of API molecules located in Houston, TX. This facility is one of Lilly’s largest investments in manufacturing capacity and is intended to provide APIs for current and future products. Job Position Overview
  • The Global Manufacturing and Quality Learning & Development (GMQLD) team is dedicated to delivering learning solutions that empower Lilly's Manufacturing and Quality organizations to achieve our mission: making medicine with safety first and quality always. The Learning Architect (LA) is a platform-specific learning professional responsible for designing and maintaining training that serve an entire manufacturing platform. Located at platform sites or Indianapolis, the LA addresses 90% platform-level and 10% site-level content needs, designing within COE standards and governance frameworks.

  • Ensure curriculum aligns to the three-layer content model (Global / Platform / Site).
Content Governance & Quality
  • Design content within COE standards, governance frameworks, and compliance requirements.
  • Feed content gaps and site needs up to Platform Lead and COE for resolution.
  • Pull global content from COE as foundation for platform-specific curriculum.

  • Interface with COE for standards, governance, and cross-platform alignment.
  • Collaborate with LEPs to understand site-specific execution needs and inform curriculum updates.
  • Represent the platform in cross-functional forums, audits, and governance reviews.
  • Support Time to Qualification optimization initiatives by identifying training burden, content redundancy, and qualification bottlenecks.
  • Contribute to OJT standardization across platform sites.
  • Use data to identify improvement opportunities in curriculum effectiveness and qualification outcomes.
Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree, OR a High School Diploma/GED with a minimum of 10 years of equivalent relevant experience in lieu of a degree.
