Job summary

Huron Consulting Group Inc. is hiring a Platform Integration Engineer to unify a diverse analytics ecosystem into a scalable platform. You’ll work with engineering leads and data teams, advocating pragmatic integration decisions and contributing to AI-assisted development tooling.

A strong emphasis on cloud infrastructure, data pipelines, and cross-team collaboration defines the role. You’ll design APIs, event streams, and data contracts; implement shared services; and partner with domain teams

Qualifications

• 3+ years of software engineering experience, with at least 1 year in integration/platform work.
• Proficiency in a backend language (Python/Go/Java or similar).
• Hands-on cloud experience (AWS preferred).
• Experience building and operating ETL/ELT pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Audit existing analytics apps to map tech choices and data flows.
• Design and implement integration patterns for interoperation.
• Evaluate build-vs-consolidate tradeoffs and document rationale.
• Build and maintain shared platform services (auth, observability, etc.).
• Develop data pipelines and a unified presentation layer across environments.
