Job summary
Cursor is seeking a Software Engineer for the Infrastructure team to own the foundational cloud and networking layer used by all services. You will shape cluster foundations, service mesh, and edge infrastructure to enable scalable, reliable deployments across regions.
You will drive cost management, regional deployment strategy, and a unified compute platform that powers rapid product engineering. Collaboration with multiple teams will be essential.
Qualifications
- Deep experience with AWS, VPC networking, EKS/K8s, and IAM/account management.
- Production Kubernetes clusters at scale with service mesh, autoscaling, and multi-region deployments.
- Edge networking, CDN/WAF architectures, and traffic management at the infrastructure level.
- Infrastructure-as-code, reproducibility, and self-serve reliable infrastructure.
- Cost optimization at scale or infrastructure migration/unification are a plus.

- Own the foundational cloud and networking layer that services run on.
- Design and operate cluster foundations, service mesh, and ingress for reliable deployments.
- Drive cost management, regional deployment strategy, and infrastructure unification.
- Build a scalable, unified compute platform to empower other teams.
