Job summary

SpaceXSI is building a distributed AI training platform powering a world‑class supercomputing cluster in Bellevue, WA. You will design and implement scalable systems, profiling and optimizing performance across GPUs, kernel, networking, and storage to push the boundaries of AI.

You will collaborate across hardware and software teams, contribute to low‑level optimization, and help evolve our tooling and workflows to maintain reliability at scale.

Qualifications

• Systems programming experience in C, C++, or Rust.
• Computer systems fundamentals from transistors to high-level applications.
• Hands-on expertise with Kubernetes (K8s): cluster architecture, pod lifecycle, networking, storage, service mesh, production operations.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and implement a large-scale distributed system powering a world‑class supercomputing cluster.
• Profile, debug, and optimize performance across GPUs, Linux kernel, networking, and filesystems.
• Collaborate on hardware, software, and algorithm co‑design for AI training.
• Maintain and improve codebase for scalability and reliability.
• Develop tools to improve team productivity and workflows.
