Job summary

SpaceX is seeking a Software Engineer for AI Infrastructure (Starshield) in Redmond, WA. You will design, deploy, and scale GPU/CPU infrastructure supporting critical national security missions, collaborating with AI engineers to build scalable, operable software.

Responsibilities include deploying AI clusters, managing on-premise Kubernetes, and ensuring high availability through monitoring and automation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS/IT or engineering with 1+ year SRE/DevOps.
• 1+ years of professional Linux experience.
• Experience with Terraform, Ansible, or similar infrastructure tools.
• Experience with containerization (Kubernetes) and scripting.

Responsibilities

• Manage GPU/CPU infrastructure deployments to Top Secret datacenters.
• Provide GPU-as-a-service support on bare metal and virtualized platforms.
• Design, validate, and productize AI cluster solutions (100k+ GPUs).
• Develop automation to deploy and manage on-premise Kubernetes AI clusters.
• Deploy and manage databases, monitoring, and distributed storage.
