Job summary

SpaceX is seeking a Sr. Software Engineer, AI Infrastructure (Starshield) in Redmond, WA to design and scale GPU/CPU infrastructure for critical national security missions. You’ll deploy automation for on‑prem Kubernetes AI clusters and collaborate across teams to deliver scalable software, from design to operation.

Strong Linux, Kubernetes, and scripting skills are required. You will mentor engineers, lead technical decisions, and help shape a high‑impact, secure infra platform that supports

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS/IT/engineering or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years with Linux; 7+ years in software/DevOps if no degree.
• 5+ years Kubernetes administration and Linux management.
• Experience with Terraform/Ansible and infrastructure tools.
• Scripting in Bash/Python; development in Python/C++/Go.
• Strong debugging, CI/CD, monitoring capabilities.
