Job summary

SpaceXSI in California is seeking a Software Engineer to design and build a large-scale distributed system powering a world-class AI training platform. You will work on the low-level stack, optimize performance, and collaborate across hardware, software, and algorithms while contributing to a cutting-edge Super Intelligence stack.

Ideal candidates have deep experience in C/C++/Rust, Kubernetes, and systems programming, plus familiarity with Linux kernel concepts, containers, and observability

Qualifications

• Strong systems programming knowledge in C, C++, or Rust.
• Computer systems fundamentals from transistors to high-level apps.
• Hands-on Kubernetes (K8s) experience including cluster architecture and networking

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and implement a large-scale distributed system powering one of the world's largest supercomputing clusters.
• Dive into the low-level stack to profile, debug, and optimize performance across GPUs, Linux kernel, networking, and filesystems.
• Collaborate on hardware, software, and algorithm co-design to push AI training boundaries.
• Maintain and innovate on our codebase to ensure scalability and reliability.
• Develop tools to enhance team productivity and streamline workflows
