Job summary

LegitScript seeks a Platform Engineering Manager to lead the infrastructure and developer experience. You will write infrastructure code, guide a hands-on team, and deploy standardized Kubernetes paths to empower engineers while reducing operational drag.

You will own auditability, change control, and automated testing, aligning with SOC 2 and policy requirements and driving automation to combat tech debt.

Qualifications

• Deep, hands-on platform/infrastructure engineering experience across AWS, Linux, and container-first workflows.
• Production Kubernetes experience + safe deployment paths for teams.
• Strong infrastructure-as-code with Terraform and change-management practices.
• CI/CD design ownership including security, gating, and quality checks.

Responsibilities

• Lead the platform engineering team and remain hands-on in infra/tooling.
• Make infrastructure auditable with environment separation, access control, and logging.
• Drive migration to standardized Kubernetes deployment paths without big-bang cutovers.
• Build and own self-service deployment tooling for engineers to ship code to production.
• Own CI/CD pipeline controls and ensure gates meet security/quality standards.
• Define infrastructure-as-code standards and enforce version control across changes.
