Job summary

LegitScript is seeking a Platform Engineering Manager to own the infrastructure and developer experience, leading the platform engineering team while remaining hands-on. You will drive a standardized Kubernetes deployment path and self-service tooling that reduces operational drag for application engineers.

You will establish infrastructure-as-code standards in Terraform, improve the CI/CD pipeline with security and quality gates, and ensure auditability for SOC 2.

Qualifications

• Hands-on platform engineering with AWS, Linux and container workflows.
• Proven Kubernetes production operations and secure deployment patterns.
• Infrastructure-as-code with Terraform in production environments.
• CI/CD design ownership with security/quality gates.
• Experience building internal developer tooling and self-service deployment.

Responsibilities

• Lead the platform engineering team and stay hands-on in infrastructure.
• Make infrastructure auditable with environment separation and logging.
• Drive migration to standardized Kubernetes deployment paths.
• Build self-service tooling and paved road for engineers to deploy.
• Own CI/CD pipeline controls and security gates at scale.
• Enforce IaC standards and change management across production.
• Reduce toil via automation and replatforming, improving velocity.
• Own reliability, monitoring, incident response, and cost management.
