Job summary

BMO Financial Group is seeking an experienced Director to own the enterprise AI platform, including the AI Gateway, policy engine, identity fabric, and observability. You will lead a hands-on team responsible for secure, compliant, and scalable governance across AI workloads.

Requirements include 8+ years in platform/AI engineering and 4+ years of leadership, with expertise in policy-as-code, CI/CD, and multi-cloud architectures.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in technical platform, infrastructure, or AI/ML engineering roles in a large enterprise.
• 4+ years leading and managing engineering teams.
• Experience building and scaling platform capabilities with governance and regulatory defensibility.

Responsibilities

• Own enterprise control plane and domain orchestration for AI workloads.
• Lead and scale a cross-functional engineering team in a build-and-run model.
• Collaborate with Security, Architecture, DevOps, and domain teams to enforce policy and observability.
• Deliver production-ready Dev Portal, AI Registry, and policy-as-code pipelines.
