ServiceNow is seeking an experienced Platform Engineering leader to drive strategic platform capabilities and scalable services across the Now Platform. The role focuses on engineering excellence, reliability, and enterprise-grade performance in a distributed, cloud-native environment.

You will partner with cross-functional teams, mentor engineering managers, and shape technical roadmaps to advance the AI-first strategy while delivering high-impact outcomes for customers worldwide.

Qualifications

• 10+ years software engineering experience on large-scale platforms.
• Experience leading multiple software teams or engineering managers.
• Strong experience with Java and distributed systems.
• Experience building platform services, frameworks, or developer-facing technologies.

Responsibilities

• Lead multiple engineering teams responsible for strategic platform capabilities and services.
• Partner with Product Management, Architecture, Infrastructure, AI Platform teams to define and execute technical roadmaps.
• Drive delivery of scalable, secure, and highly available platform solutions.
• Build and grow high-performing engineering teams through coaching, mentorship, and succession planning.
• Establish technical direction and engineering best practices across multiple teams.
• Lead cross-functional initiatives involving platform modernization, scalability improvements, and AI-powered capabilities.
