Job summary

PDI Technologies in Alpharetta, GA is seeking a Senior Manager, Engineering to lead the platform and its engineering team. This is a hands-on leadership role focused on architecture, design reviews, and code contributions to drive the platform forward in partnership with architecture, infrastructure, security, and product groups.

You will own the platform's direction, treat it as a product, deliver analytics and AI capabilities, raise engineering standards, and ensure reliable, cost-efficient

Qualifications

• 8+ years building and operating production software, including 3+ years leading engineering teams.
• Hands-on in code, debugging, and design reviews with authority.
• Strong background in distributed systems and platform architecture.
• Experience with analytics/BI platforms, LLM apps, and AI capabilities is valued.
• Production experience with cloud and modern web platforms.
• Identity and access management experience: OIDC/OAuth2 and enterprise IdP integration.

Responsibilities

• Set and own the platform's technical direction and architecture.
• Treat the platform as a product; define adoption paths and boundaries between platform and product.
• Deliver analytics and AI capabilities that products can ship on.
• Raise the engineering bar with automated, observable releases and robust design reviews.
• Run the platform with clear SLAs, reliability, security, and cost discipline.
• Partner with product engineering, data, SRE, and security to keep alignment with business goals.
• Build and mentor the platform engineering team.
