Job summary

PDI Technologies is seeking a Senior Manager of Engineering to lead the platform and the team behind it. This is a hands-on leadership role focused on architecture, design reviews, and code, partnering with architecture, infrastructure, security, and product teams to drive the platform forward.

You will own domain scope, platform boundaries, and end-to-end technical direction, delivering analytics, AI capabilities, and scalable multi-tenant design while raising the engineering bar through

Qualifications

• 8+ years building and operating production software with 3+ years leading teams.
• Hands-on with the ability to read code, run systems, and lead design reviews.
• Strong background in platform architecture, API design, and multi-tenant data isolation.
• Experience in analytics/BI, LLM apps, and AI capabilities for B2B SaaS is a plus.
• Proven track record of improving platform architecture, reliability, or adoption.

Responsibilities

• Set and own the platform's technical direction with a sequenced plan.
• Treat the platform as a product, defining adoption paths and boundaries.
• Deliver analytics and AI capabilities that products can ship on.
• Raise the engineering bar with automated, observable releases and reviews.
• Run the platform with defined SLAs, reliability, and cost controls.
• Collaborate with product, architecture, data, SRE, and security teams.
• Build and mentor the platform engineering team.
