Job summary

PDI Technologies is seeking a Senior Manager, Engineering to lead the platform and the team behind it. This hands-on leadership role requires guiding architecture, design reviews, and code while driving the platform's evolution in partnership with architecture, infrastructure, security, and product teams.

You will define the platform as a product, create adoption paths, and deliver analytics/AI capabilities that products can ship.

Qualifications

• 8+ years building and operating production software.
• Hands-on with reading code, running systems, debugging production issues, and leading design reviews.
• Strong distributed systems and platform architecture background including API design and multi-tenant data isolation.
• Experience with analytics/BI, LLM application engineering, workflow/orchestration platforms, web front-end architecture, and cloud tooling (AWS, Kubernetes).

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end technical direction of the platform and its service boundaries.
• Define platform as a product with adoption paths and boundaries between platform and product.
• Deliver analytics and AI capabilities for product ships, balancing performance and cost.
• Lead delivery with automated, observable releases and rigorous design review.
• Run the platform with SLAs, reliability, security posture, and cost awareness.
• Collaborate with product engineering, architecture, data engineering, SRE, and security teams to stay aligned.
• Build and mentor the platform engineering team and set technical standards.
