Job summary

PDI Technologies is seeking a Senior Manager of Engineering to lead the platform and its engineering team. You will drive architectural direction, governance, and end-to-end delivery of analytics, AI, and embedded capabilities across products.

This hands-on leadership role requires a strong foundation in distributed systems, platform architecture, and cross-functional collaboration with architecture, security, and product teams. Hybrid work and strong compensation are offered.

Qualifications

• 8+ years building and operating production software with leadership experience.
• Hands-on capability to read code, debug, and conduct design reviews.
• Strong background in distributed systems and platform architecture.
• Experience with at least two of analytics/BI, LLM app engineering, workflow platforms, or modern web architectures.
• Production experience with AWS, Kubernetes, IaC, and GitOps workflows.
• Identity and access management familiarity (OIDC/OAuth2) and enterprise IdP integrations.
• Proven track record improving architecture, reliability, or adoption of an existing platform.

Responsibilities

• Set and own the platform's technical direction and target-state roadmap.
• Treat the platform as a product with clear adoption paths and boundaries.
• Deliver analytics and AI capabilities that products can ship on.
• Raise the engineering bar with automated, observable releases and strong design reviews.
• Run the platform with reliable SLAs, security posture, and cost discipline.
• Collaborate with product, data, SRE, and security to align platform with business goals.
• Build and mentor the platform engineering team.
