Job summary

PerfectServe is seeking a Platform Engineering Manager to lead a team building our cloud platform. You will stay hands-on while guiding architecture, IaC practices and platform roadmap with our Director and partners.

In healthcare SaaS, the role emphasizes reliability, security and collaboration across product, security and operations, with a strong focus on AI-enabled observability and automation.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of platform engineering experience with hands-on leadership.
• Extensive Kubernetes administration at scale (ArgoCD, Helm, cluster lifecycle).
• Expert with Terraform and IaC; CI/CD and GitOps workflows.
• Deep AWS experience and cloud-native containerization.
• Good knowledge of observability, security/IAM principles.
• Excellent communication; available for on-call escalation.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of platform engineers and manage hiring, onboarding and performance.
• Contribute to architecture decisions and define platform patterns.
• Shape platform roadmap balancing reliability, cost, security and developer experience.
• Guide cloud deployment strategies with a focus on AWS and IaC automation.
• Partner on AI/AIOps initiatives and observability improvements.
• Ensure SLIs/SLOs and participate in blameless post-mortems.
• Collaborate with product, security and operations to align priorities.
• Drive continuous improvement and adoption of new tech.
