Job summary

Leidos is seeking a Platform Engineering Team Lead to guide a senior group of platform engineers in delivering enterprise-grade software platforms for the USAF Defensive Cyber Systems program. You will drive roadmaps, standards, and collaboration across development, security, and architecture teams, focusing on automation, reliability, and scalability.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in CS/IT/Engineering or related field, or equivalent experience.
8+ years in DevOps, Platform/Cloud/Systems Eng or related roles.
3+ years leading technical teams or engineering initiatives.
Experience designing and supporting CI/CD pipelines and automated software delivery processes.
Experience with Kubernetes/OpenShift/Docker.
Experience with AWS/Azure/GCP cloud platforms.
Experience with IaC tools like Terraform/CloudFormation.
Knowledge of DevSecOps, automation and observability.

Responsibilities

Lead, mentor, and develop a team of platform engineers supporting enterprise software delivery platforms.
Establish platform engineering roadmaps, standards, and best practices.
