The director reports to a co-founder and CTO and oversees infrastructure, reliability, performance, releases, and internal tooling across the platform.

The role focuses on building a high-performing org, defining career paths, and partnering with leadership to ensure platform investments meet customer and business needs.

Qualifications

• Experience managing engineering managers across multiple teams.
• Deep knowledge of distributed systems, cloud infra, and security architecture.
• Proven ability to scale infrastructure with high availability and strong performance.
• High standard for software quality and engineering processes.

Responsibilities

• Own engineering strategy and technical vision for platform infra and tooling.
• Build and grow a high-performing engineering organization and leaders.
• Partner with product and leadership to align platform investments with business needs.
• Define org structure, leveling, career paths, and engineering rituals.
• Provide architectural oversight across cloud, security, and ops tooling.
• Drive security reviews, capacity planning, testing, and incident response.
