Job summary

Chainalysis is seeking a Director of Business Systems & Platform Engineering to oversee platform, data, and integration engineering across the organization. You will own the technical roadmap, guide a cross-functional team, and mentor engineering managers to elevate the tech bar and ensure secure, scalable systems.

You'll lead in an AI-enabled, API-first, headless architecture, partnering with Product, Sales, and Success to translate business needs into technical scope, while maintaining robust

Qualifications

• 8+ years in software, platform, or data engineering with 4+ years managing engineers and managers.

Responsibilities

• Lead the systems and engineering org through a shift to platform and data engineering.
• Own the technical architecture, design, and delivery roadmap across business systems, enterprise data and integrations.
• Directly manage and grow systems and engineering-track managers and direct reports.
• Codify standards, style guides, workflows and operating model leveraging AI and agentic processes.
• Prioritize and deliver the BADaS roadmap by translating business requirements into technical scope and sequencing.
• Act as internal technical counterpart to vendors and partners, reviewing architecture proposals and designs.
• Own security, RBAC, and data-governance posture of BADaS platforms.
• Collaborate with Chainalysis leaders to reuse platforms and code-bases.
