Job summary

Crusoe is seeking a Director of Infrastructure Security Engineering in the San Francisco Bay Area to lead a team of 5–6 engineers. You will shape the platform security stack, including identity, secrets management, PKI, and zero-trust access across GPU nodes and bare-metal fleets.

You will transform operations into a proactive, high-velocity engineering function, setting architectural direction and delivering secure, scalable infrastructure security at scale.

Qualifications

• 8+ years leading and scaling software/security teams in hyper-scale environments.
• Hands-on builder who ships core security platforms (Vault, SPIFFE/SPIRE, eBPF).
• Deep Linux kernel security, IAM, PKI, and hardware/network primitives.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of 5–6 engineers in platform security and IAM.
• Transition to proactive platform engineering with clear roadmaps and cadences.
• Architect least-privilege RBAC/ABAC models across cloud and on-premise infra.
• Drive secure boot, roots of trust, and software supply chain verification.
• Operate multi-layer control planes across public cloud and on-prem hardware.
