Cox Automotive is seeking a Senior Director of Software Engineering to provide platform leadership for Customer Platforms, owning technical health, depth, and AI readiness across Salesforce, Genesys, Sierra, and related systems. You will drive cross-platform outcomes and mentor senior leaders in a fast-paced SaaS environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related discipline with 12+ years in a related field; or a Master's with 10+ years; or PhD with 7+ years; or 20 years in a related field with no degree.

Responsibilities

• Owns the technical health, architecture, and AI readiness of the Customer Platforms portfolio across multiple platforms.
• Acts as the technical authority for Customer Platforms, defining what is technically possible and the risks across all platforms.
• Leads Value Stream Leaders driving cross-platform business outcomes and ensures accountability for end-to-end delivery.
• Guides AI transformation strategy for Customer Platforms and evaluates build vs. buy in the SaaS AI landscape.
• Enforces AI-ready engineering standards, including spec-driven development, automated testing, and AI tooling adoption.
• Establishes architecture standards for CRM customization, contact center integration, and marketing automation at scale.
