Job summary

Cox Automotive is seeking a Lead Architect to provide technical leadership across CAI services, advancing platform modernization and AI initiatives. You will define architectural vision, drive design from discovery to delivery, and partner across engineering, product, and business teams to balance near-term delivery with long-term health.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree or higher in a related field.
• Strong experience aligning stakeholders around technical direction.
• Analytical with ability to dive deep and prototype quickly.
• Broad knowledge across apps, integrations, and platforms.
• Extensive experience delivering APIs at scale.

Responsibilities

• Define and evolve architectural vision translating priorities into durable tech direction.
• Drive solution design from discovery to delivery shaping epics and risks.
• Partner with engineering, product, and agile leaders to sequence investments.
• Identify and reduce technical debt in deal initiation surfaces and legacy integrations.
• Champion common tenancy and AWS-native patterns within the value stream.
• Identify and promote generative AI usage in new products aligned to standards.
• Produce and maintain roadmaps, decision records, and diagrams for teams.
• Evaluate Gen AI tooling applicability to deal initiation and structuring.
