Job summary

Cox Automotive's CAI Architecture Team seeks a Principal Solution Architect to lead architectural modernization across inventory, deal, and service platforms. You will guide design from discovery to delivery, champion reusable patterns, and mentor teams in AI-enabled solutions.

Ideal candidates bring deep API experience, cloud expertise (AWS), and a track record in scalable architectures, with a focus on governance and secure, ethical AI implementations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree + 10 years in a related field, or approved alternatives.
• Ability to align diverse stakeholders around technical direction.
• Experience delivering APIs at scale (GraphQL/REST).

Responsibilities

• Drive solution design from discovery through delivery and align teams to target architecture.
• Sequence architectural investments with engineering, product, and agile leaders.
• Champion adoption of common tenancy and AWS-native patterns within the value stream.
• Identify and champion AI capabilities for new products aligned with platform standards.
• Produce architectural artifacts like roadmaps and diagrams for teams.
