Job summary

JTEC Consulting LLC is seeking a Platform Engineer (TS/SCI w/ Poly) to join an on-site team in Chantilly, VA. The role focuses on designing, building, and securing scalable infrastructure with IaC, Kubernetes, and DevSecOps practices.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in RHEL administration, CI/CD, and secure access management with AWS IAM, collaborating across engineering, security, and product teams to optimize performance and cost.

Qualifications

• U.S. citizenship and current TS/SCI with polygraph required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related discipline or equivalent experience.
• Experience designing and maintaining secure infrastructure with IaC and automation.
• Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain scalable, secure infrastructure using IaC.
• Manage containerized apps with Kubernetes and Helm in production.
• Integrate DevSecOps practices across the development lifecycle.
• Develop and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines and automation.
• Administer and optimize Red Hat Enterprise Linux environments.
• Configure secure access policies with AWS IAM and related tools.
• Collaborate with developers, security engineers, and product teams to improve platform.
