Job summary

JTEC Consulting LLC is seeking a Platform Engineer (TS/SCI with poly) to join our security-focused engineering team in Chantilly, Virginia. This on-site role requires hands-on responsibility for designing, building, and maintaining scalable, reliable infrastructure that protects critical DoD data and services.

You will implement infrastructure as code, manage containerized workloads with Kubernetes, and drive DevSecOps practices across CI/CD pipelines.

Qualifications

• Current TS/SCI with agency-specific polygraph required for consideration.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related technical discipline (equivalent years of direct experience considered in lieu of a degree).
• Effective written and verbal communication skills to work as part of a collaborative cross-functional team.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain infrastructure using IaC and configuration management.
• Manage containerized applications with Kubernetes and Helm.
• Champion DevSecOps by integrating security into every stage of the development and deployment lifecycle.
• Develop and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines to streamline deployments.
• Administer and optimize Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL).
• Configure and manage secure access with AWS IAM.
• Collaborate with developers, security engineers, and product teams to improve platform.
