Job summary

JTEC Consulting LLC is seeking an Infrastructure Engineer (TS/SCI with poly) to join our on-site team in Chantilly, VA. You will architect, build, and maintain scalable, resilient systems powering our high-volume data alerting capabilities, focusing on containerized workloads and cloud operations.

Responsibilities include deploying secure cloud infrastructure on AWS (EKS, EC2, S3), implementing IaC with Terraform, designing robust networking, and ensuring observability with Grafana.

Qualifications

• Current TS/SCI with agency-specific polygraph required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (equivalent experience considered).
• Experience Level: Mid-Level 5+ years; Senior Level 8+ years.
• Effective written and verbal communication in a collaborative, cross-functional team.

Responsibilities

• Architect and maintain highly available systems using Kubernetes for containerized workloads.
• Manage cloud infrastructure on AWS using EKS, EC2, and S3.
• Implement IaC with Terraform to automate provisioning and scaling.
• Design robust routing and DNS for high availability across distributed systems.
• Manage data streaming with RabbitMQ and Kafka for large-scale data flows.
• Monitor system health with Grafana and logging/alerting frameworks.
• Collaborate with development teams to streamline CI/CD pipelines.
• Ensure cloud security and assist in troubleshooting complex issues.
