Job summary

Shipt is seeking an Engineer for our Enterprise Tools & AI Enablement team to own our organization's digital nervous system, overseeing critical SaaS ecosystems including Google Workspace, Slack, Zoom, and Microsoft 365. You will drive reliability, security, and performance while leading lifecycle management and automation.

You will also champion enterprise-wide AI adoption, stress-test features, and deploy automated release pipelines.

Qualifications

• At least 4 years in software or systems engineering, specifically designing and maintaining scalable SaaS architectures.
• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent professional experience

Responsibilities

• Own the lifecycle management of the SaaS ecosystem (Slack, Zoom, Google Workspace, Microsoft 365) ensuring reliability, security, and performance.
• Drive enterprise-wide AI adoption by stress-testing and deploying features like Slack AI and Google Gemini, building automated release pipelines.
• Bridge vendor innovation and internal needs by translating roadmaps into long-term plans and managing cross-functional projects.
• Partner with security and engineering teams to replace redundant tooling and serve as a tier-3 escalation point.
• Automate processes to reduce workplace friction while maintaining high platform reliability.
