Job summary

ICE Clear Europe Limited is looking for a full-time Engineer to join their team focusing on the ICE OpenShift container platform. The Engineer will work closely with development and operations teams to enable application migrations into a microservices model while maintaining high performance standards.

The ideal candidate will have a degree in computer science or engineering and experience with Kubernetes, OpenShift, and various automation tools. This role emphasizes mentoring, technical problem-solving, and providing support in a 24/7 operational environment.

Qualifications

• Degree in computer science/engineering discipline or equivalent experience in platform engineering.
• Understanding of major Kubernetes components and familiarity with Kubernetes concepts.
• Experience with self-managed Kubernetes and/or OpenShift.

Responsibilities

• Build, support, and maintain Kubernetes and OpenShift platform infrastructure.
• Provide technical analysis, resolve problems, propose, and implement solutions.
• Educate and mentor platform consumers, team members and operations staff.
