Job summary

ICE is seeking a full-time Engineer to enhance its OpenShift container platform. The successful candidate will work closely with development and engineering teams, driving the migration of applications into a microservices model. Responsibilities include maintaining infrastructure, supporting users, and participating in on-call duties in a 24/7 environment.

Qualifications

• Degree in computer science/engineering discipline or equivalent experience in platform engineering.
• Understanding of major Kubernetes components and familiarity with Kubernetes concepts.
• Experience with self-managed Kubernetes and/or OpenShift.

Responsibilities

• Build, support, and maintain Kubernetes and OpenShift platform infrastructure.
• Provide technical analysis, resolve problems, propose, and implement solutions.
• Educate and mentor platform consumers, team members and operations staff.
