Job summary

Canoo is hiring a Platform Engineer to own CI/CD systems, cloud infrastructure, IaC, and Kubernetes. You will collaborate with development teams to accelerate delivery and maintain secure, scalable infrastructure across platforms.

The role emphasizes Kubernetes operations, Helm chart management, automation, and security tooling, with an on-site work model and opportunities to impact EV technology.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Engineering or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years with Helm, Kubernetes and Terraform.
• 3+ years working with cloud infrastructure.
• 3+ years working with CI/CD tooling.
• Experience with two or more programming languages.
• Experience with secret management solutions.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, Agile and JIRA experience.
• Experience with automated testing and 12 Factor methodology.

Responsibilities

• Manage CI/CD infrastructure and pipelines.
• Own infrastructure code for cloud platforms.
• Tune Kubernetes clusters and workloads.
• Develop patterns for development teams to speed delivery.
• Manage internal and external Helm charts and deployments.
• Oversee automated security scanning and respond to findings.
• Support IoT infrastructure.
