Sony Interactive Entertainment LLC in Aliso Viejo, CA is seeking an Engineering Platform Engineer II to advance Kubernetes-based infrastructure, monitoring, and service security. You will design and deploy infrastructure, work with Docker, Typescript, and Golang, and integrate new microservices with existing stacks.

Candidates should have a Master's in IT/CS or related field and 2 years of relevant experience, with hands-on experience in Prometheus, Grafana, Elastic Stack, and eBPF.

Qualifications

Master's in IT, CS or related field or equivalent.
2 years of experience developing and securing new services for infrastructure.
Experience with Docker, Typescript, Golang; Kubernetes and Linux debugging.

Responsibilities

Develop and secure new infrastructure for monitoring microservices using Prometheus, Grafana, and Elastic Stack.
Debug containerized microservices in Kubernetes on a Linux environment.
Provide technical support for debugging and testing new code using GDB and Wireshark.
Identify and resolve security, efficiency, cost, and process deficiencies in the current stack.
