Job summary

Sony Interactive Entertainment (SIE) is seeking a Platform Engineer II in Aliso Viejo, CA to advance Kubernetes CNIs built on eBPF and iptables. This role focuses on scalable infrastructure development, microservices monitoring, and securing complex systems within the PlayStation platform.

The candidate will work with Docker, Go, and TypeScript to implement and support new services, leveraging Prometheus, Grafana, Elastic Stack, and Linux tooling for debugging and optimization.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in IT, CS, or related field, plus 2 years of experience developing and securing infrastructure services.
• Experience with Docker, TypeScript and Go; monitoring with Prometheus/Grafana and Elastic Stack.
• Familiarity with eBPF programs (Cilium) and Kubernetes; debugging with GDB and Wireshark.
