GreatAmerica is seeking a Platform Engineer II to advance our core financial platforms, including lease/loan servicing, general ledger, and document management. You will design, build, and maintain scalable cloud/on-prem solutions and ensure data integrity in a regulated financial services environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years supporting, engineering, or administering technology platforms.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain platform capabilities across cloud and on-prem environments.
• Own and execute lifecycle activities (provisioning, upgrades, patching); proactively own platform health, scalability, and security for assigned components.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines and automation; reduce manual effort through repeatable processes.
• Monitor platform performance; troubleshoot complex issues; participate in incident response and root cause analysis.
• Recognize when platform or data issues stem from upstream vendor instability versus internal causes; escalate appropriately and document the distinction.
• Implement and maintain security controls and access management; maintain audit-ready documentation for assigned platforms.
• Partner with product, engineering, and business teams; contribute to knowledge sharing and reusable components.
