Job summary

Cisco Systems, Inc. is seeking a Digital Solutions and Platform Engineer to own the operational reliability of platforms supporting Acacia's engineering and business workflows.

You will diagnose complex issues, automate repeatable tasks, and reduce technical debt to ensure consistent performance as the environment scales. The role blends hands-on engineering with architectural thinking and requires Massachusetts office presence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience with five or more years of hands-on experience administering and troubleshooting enterprise infrastructure (virtualization, servers, storage, networking, or backup/recovery).
• Demonstrated experience diagnosing and resolving complex technical issues spanning multiple domains (e.g., identity, applications, networks).
• Experience automating infrastructure tasks using scripting languages (PowerShell, Python, Bash) and configuration-management tools.
• Experience designing and implementing technical improvements beyond standard maintenance.
