Job summary

NikoHealth, a rapidly growing SaaS company, is building out its US engineering team. This newly created role reports to the CTO and owns how our software is released and run, collaborating with senior engineers.

We're running dozens of .NET services on Windows Server and IIS in AWS, managed with Terraform and Octopus Deploy. The successful candidate will reduce release lead times and improve deployment speed across the fleet.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in platform, infrastructure, or DevOps engineering.
• Production Terraform, including state you owned and drift you had to reconcile.
• Production Windows Server and IIS, application pools included.
• End-to-end ownership of a CI/CD pipeline in a previous role.
• AWS at the level this estate uses it: EC2, ALB, VPC, IAM.
• Track record of replacing a manual process with a measured and automated one.
• Evidence you've made other engineers faster, via build times and feedback.

Responsibilities

• Own our CI/CD pipeline end to end with authority to change deployments.
• Own developer experience: reproducible builds and local environments.
• Get automated regression suite running in CI and executed.
• Cut release lead time and publish a released fleet window.
• Make fleet version state queryable rather than manual.
• Design and publish an access model to stop routing through one inbox.
• Bring runtimes and dependencies current, starting with shared libraries.
• Document and share learnings to prevent knowledge bottlenecks.
