Job summary

Salesforce, Inc. is building a brand-new Software Factory team to industrialize how we build software.

We enable coding agents to run safe, orchestrated work from Slack, Linear, GitHub, and schedulers, with visibility across the platform. As one of the first engineers, you’ll shape the platform from the ground up, partnering with our CTO and delivering from design to production for demanding internal customers.

Qualifications

• Hands-on with coding agents and LLM tooling.
• Proven experience building developer tooling, CI/CD systems, or platform infrastructure.
• Build observability for agent work: traces, tool audit trails, and cost per execution.

Responsibilities

• Build triggers and orchestration turning messages/tickets into agent runs with outcomes.
• Shape context for agents using codebase, Notion, Slack, Datadog, and Salesforce integrations.
• Create human-in-the-loop surfaces for reviewing agent plans, artifacts, and code.
• Evaluate and integrate sandboxes, orchestrators, and agents with build-vs-buy judgment.
• Partner with CTO to shape priorities and what the factory takes on next.
• Own delivery from design through launch, monitoring, and iteration.
• Set patterns for how the engineering org works with agents day to day.
