Job summary

Recorded Future is hiring for a senior platform engineer to lead deployment and management of a containerized workspace streaming platform on Kubernetes. You will design Helm-based configurations, build VM images, and scale clusters across AWS/Azure/GCP.

You will own networking, CI/CD pipelines, and incident response, while collaborating with Security and IT to integrate identity providers and SIEM pipelines. This role is hybrid in the US and requires strong DevOps experience.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in DevOps, SRE, or platform engineering for production workloads.
• Hands-on Kubernetes experience in production environments (deployments, ingress, RBAC, troubleshooting).
• Docker expertise, multi-stage Dockerfiles, and private registries.
• Linux systems administration with Bash; Python or Go for automation.
• Experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP and cloud networking.
• Strong networking fundamentals: TLS, DNS, proxies, load balancers.
• Experience building CI/CD pipelines for images and deployments.
• Experience creating reproducible VM images with Packer/cloud-init.
• Bonus: Terraform/Ansible, KubeVirt/Harvester, GPU workloads, SAML/OIDC integrations.

Responsibilities

• Lead the deployment, upgrade, and lifecycle management of a containerized workspace streaming platform on Kubernetes, incl. Helm customization and core service config.
• Build and maintain custom VM images and auto-scaling agent pools for containerized and GPU workloads.
• Operate and scale Kubernetes clusters, Linux servers, and cloud resources (AWS/Azure/GCP) with capacity planning and patching.
• Own networking and ingress: TLS, cert-manager, DNS, load balancers, and secure routing between control plane, agents, and users.
• Build CI/CD pipelines to automate image builds, scanning, publishing, Helm deployments, and configuration rollouts.
• Monitor platform health, investigate incidents, tune performance, and conduct root-cause analyses.
• Collaborate with Security/IT/Engineering to integrate SAML/OIDC, session recording, logging, and SIEM pipelines.
