Job summary

Beyond SOF is seeking a Platform DevOps Engineer to build, manage, and secure container platforms for client environments in the Reston area. You will leverage Kubernetes, Docker, and Rancher to deliver scalable cloud-native solutions and advise on strategy and design with clients.

The role emphasizes automation, CI/CD pipelines, and container security, with opportunities to expand skills in cloud environments across AWS, Azure, and GCP.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in infrastructure, DevOps, or application development.
• 3+ years with container tools (Docker/Kubernetes/Rancher).
• 3+ years deploying Kubernetes in cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP).
• 2+ years with automation tools (SaltStack/Ansible/Puppet).
• 2+ years with Helm and IaC for large deployments.
• Knowledge of container networking, monitoring, and storage.
• Knowledge of container security technologies (Twistlock/Falco/Clair).
