Job summary

Sierra Nevada Corporation is seeking a Product Architect for Platform Engineering to provide architectural leadership across cloud, data, and enterprise platforms in a hybrid work model from Lone Tree, CO. You will define reference architectures, guide implementation with engineering teams, and ensure consistency with enterprise standards and SDL lifecycle.

Qualifications

Experience designing secure architectures across cloud, infrastructure, and enterprise platforms.
Knowledge of cybersecurity principles: identity, network security, encryption, data protection.
Experience with DevSecOps and secure software development practices.
Familiarity with defense compliance topics (CMMC, NIST 800-171, ITAR, DFARS).

Responsibilities

Define and maintain reference architectures for cloud platforms and data platforms.
Guide platform design decisions to support long-term maintainability and flexibility.
Collaborate with engineering teams to implement DevOps practices across platforms.
Translate enterprise standards into practical platform design patterns.
Participate in architecture governance forums and technical design reviews.
Identify opportunities to improve platform architecture and engineering effectiveness.
