Job summary

Valence Surface Technologies in Garden Grove, CA is seeking a full-time plant technician for weekend shifts (Fri-Sun, 12-hour shifts, 5am–5:30pm). Responsibilities include processing parts in tanks, time management, and maintaining processing logs. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, 401k match, and generous PTO. Qualifications

• Process parts in tanks according to specifications, work order and other requirements.
• Calculates the appropriate amount of time needed to process parts.
• Removes parts from tank after specified time, rinses parts and immerse them in bath before finishing processing.
• Completes paperwork as required by company and processing guidelines.
• Oversee and assist all line assistants to optimize throughput.
• Evaluate and log all preventative maintenance on processing line.
• Ensure all hazardous waste material is disposed of correctly.
• Other duties as assigned

WORK ENVIRONMENT

The majority of work is performed in a manufacturing setting. Work is performed in shop conditions and can be in excess of 100 degrees Fahrenheit
