Job summary

Valence Surface Technologies is seeking a 2nd shift Process Technician in Garden Grove, CA. The role requires processing parts in tanks, time calculations, rinsing and bathing parts, and completing required paperwork.

You will supervise line assistants, log preventive maintenance, and ensure hazardous waste is disposed of properly. Compensation ranges from $16.50 to $18.47 per hour (DOE) with shift differential, plus benefits including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, 401k with employer

• 1 year experience in chemical processing.

Responsibilities

• Process parts in tanks according to specifications, work order and other requirements.
• Calculates the appropriate amount of time needed to process parts.
• Removes parts from tank after specified time, rinses parts and immerse them in bath before finishing processing.
• Completes paperwork as required by company and processing guidelines.
• Oversee and assist all line assistants to optimize throughput.
• Evaluate and log all preventative maintenance on processing line.
• Ensure all hazardous waste material is disposed of correctly.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

The majority of work is performed in a manufacturing setting. Work is performed in shop conditions and can be in excess of 100 degrees Fahrenheit
