Job summary

Valence Surface Technologies is seeking a dedicated Maintenance Technician for a full-time position in Garden Grove, CA. The role involves troubleshooting, repairing and maintaining all production equipment, with a focus on mechanical, electrical, and support systems.

You will perform preventive maintenance, document work, and assist in installing new equipment while adhering to safety rules. The position requires 2nd shift coverage and is on-site.

Qualifications

• Experience troubleshooting and repairing production equipment.
• Ability to perform scheduled/preventive maintenance.
• Familiarity with mechanical and electrical systems in a manufacturing setting.
• Capable of documenting work per company guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, support & repair all production equipment.
• Install, inspect, repair and maintain mechanical, electrical, and related systems.
• Coordinate and participate in scheduled/preventive maintenance.
• Inspect, operate and maintain steam, heating, cooling and water treatment systems.
• Complete all necessary documentation per guidelines.
• Design and install new equipment and tools; comply with safety rules.
• Other duties as assigned.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

The majority of work is performed in a manufacturing setting. Work is performed in shop conditions and can be in excess of 100 degrees Fahrenheit
