Job summary

nVent in Richland, MS is seeking a Plate Roll Operator to join our manufacturing team. You will load aluminum sheets, adjust the plate roll for correct radius, and verify roundness, then tack weld ends as needed.

Qualifications

• Ability to read tape measure and basic prints.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 40 lbs.
• Forklift certification and safe operation may be required.
• Able to work with team and meet production schedules.

Responsibilities

• Load aluminum sheets into plate roll using a vacuum lifter.
• Adjust plate roll for correct radius and material thickness.
• Verify rolled pieces for roundness and alignment.
• Tack weld ends for cylindrical pieces when required.
• Count pieces and report to Team Lead daily.
• Maintain housekeeping and safe working area.
